Justice minister: Hungary ‘black sheep for rejecting migration’
Justice Minister Judit Varga said that Hungary was treated as a “black sheep just for rejecting migration“, in an interview published in the German daily Die Welt on Friday.
Varga praised the work of the European Union’s German presidency, saying its “balance is positive … despite the coronavirus epidemic” ravaging the continent. The priority now should be distributing the 750 billion euro recovery fund, allocated to offset the fallout of the pandemic, as quickly as possible, she said.
She noted that under German presidency, the Council and the European Parliament have concluded an agreement on making EU funding conditional on adhering to rule of law regulations. Varga called the agreement a “bad compromise” that endangered the rule of law rather than protecting it.
One consequence of the agreement could be that Brussels could employ “ideological blackmail” against member states by forcing them to adopt its political views, she said.
Varga noted that the European Council had in July adopted an agreement saying that the EU’s multiannual budget and the recovery fund could not be tied to rule of law issues. The Hungarian government views all packages running afoul of that agreement as unacceptable, she said.
The core values of the EU should be protected by open debate and “unanimous amendments to the EU treaty,” she said.
“We want to protect our Christian roots. We don’t want a multicultural society. We want to keep marriage as a bond between a woman and a man … Certain issues are decided by the states,” Varga said.

So, basicly, she is admitting that the Hungarian illiberal regime she is an active member of, does not respect the rule of law. Otherwise, what does she fear?
It is not the migration issue that is the driving factor behind the disapproval of 25 out of the other 26 EU members, as well she knows. As usual this odious woman is using migration as a smokescreen.
Justice Minister Varga is quite correct in her assessment of the current situation regarding linkage of so-called (E.U.) ‘rule of law’ to E.U. fund distribution.
The simple fact is that most Hungarians REJECT illegal migration of Muslims into Europe as a whole.
The present FIDESZ-led Government has won HUGE MAJORITIES in Parliament over three elections and are HATED for it by not only Hungarian opposition parties but also the leaders of many other E.U. nations – who REFUSE to allow their citizens a voice in such important matters.
The Brussels bureaucrats (and their mostly left-wing political masters) will now do ANYTHING to advance their Marxist / Socialist / homophilic / migrophilic / anti-Christian agendas and have effectively established a DICTATORSHIP which rivals that of other unelected European ‘leaders’ such as Bonaparte or Hitler or Stalin.
Thank goodness for ELECTED European leaders like Viktor Orban who have the GUTS to tell these new petty dictators ‘where to go’.
The problem for us readers is that mental retards like ‘MARIO’ and ‘THETRUTHHURTS’ have brains the size of microbes and will never comprehend (yet alone accept) such facts. Accordingly, we are CONTINUALLY bombarded with their feculent comments.
France, Belgium, Germany, and Italy just to name of few countries welcomed refugees and illegal migrants. The result was terrorist attacks, increase of assaults on women and rising crime rate. No one said all refugees and illegal aliens are criminals but the criminals or would be criminals cannot be identified ahead. Parallel societies have also been set up and as a result countries ended up with no go zones. Presently, less than 50% of the newcomers are employed and are supported by tax payers. Hungary does help African people with projects on the African continent.
The homogenous Hungary works well. Hungary is not a rich nation, therefore all resources are needed for her people. In this country peace and common sense reigns. Well done Hungary for exercising her sovereignty on behalf of its citizens.
Hungary fought the Ottoman Muslims before and it took them 1000 years to finally kick the invaders out. Hungary learned from their history how dangerous the Muslims are so they are not going to allow them in again. The EU countries will just have to learn the hard way. Hungary and Poland are 2 very strong Christian countries with beautiful churches. They will not allow the Muslims in so they can burn and destroy the churches. Thank Göd for Orbán for keeping the Muslims out.
Some comments of the professional hater are so full of ignorance that reading them is almost amusing.
He/she/it does not even know that 1.000 years ago the Ottomans did not even exist, that later, when they did exist it was mainly Austria and not Hungary who defeated them, and that Ottomans in particular and Moslems in genera were in those days far more tolerant and respectful of other religions than Christians were of fellow Christians not to speak of other religions (in fact, the most horrendous crimes committed in the Holy Land during those horrible wars known as crusades were committed by European Christians )
Ignorance mother of all prejudices. This hater indeed must live a very sad life.
For those readers who are not aware, Mario has ‘adopted’ a 2015 song by IAN RUBBISH AND THE BIZZAROS as his theme / ‘raison d’etre’.
It is titled “LIVING IN THE GUTTER” and can be found on YouTube.
Enjoy !
